In relation with other humans it makes complete sense. But in the relations humans/animals/plants/ecosystems, stewardship (more than curating) sounds very western.
For me it doesn't fit to indigenous relation to natur and ecosystems, who understands that we are one small part of the system, not above it. We are equivalent to animals and plants, but not to the ecosystem as a whole.
So how can we claim stewardship?
