2023-07-08 — Construction Day 7
We got Backup through npub14wcgyflwlnfqm3z7dmxvtt9ss78t4pc3nwdmnuat468ztp3lls9quy3mlh (npub14wc…3mlh) at ~12:05 today! He helped setup the Proxmox and we had an awesome time overall.
We had some problems as Nick needed to build a serial loopback RJ45 cable to reset a password on a power distributor, which we managed doing after quite some time.
Stream was a good 8 hours, as usual.
In the evening ~20:00 we had a (part vegan) BBQ and afterwards both Nick and Rodirik went swimming in our pool.
We talked until 1:30 AM and Nick is still chilling in our newly built data center, because I think he is straight up more comfortable with sleeping / resting there. He told me the server noises had a “calming effect”. I think he’s a little insane but who am I to judge.
