Hey nerds, I’m contemplating getting a new larger monitor for my docking station at home. I currently run twin 24in 1080p—bog-standard office types—one landscape and one portrait. I’d like to go a bit bigger (older eyes and all) but I’d also like to go up to 4k if I can.
I’ve been out of tech work for long enough that I don’t know where the discontinuities are any more. What’s reasonable to pay? Where’s the sweet spot?
(I don’t do heavy gaming; this is mostly for text & light photo editing.)
