I hate seeing men and women wasting their lives thinking that if they just follow the rules that they’ll get everything they rightfully deserve.
In a sane society things would be structured towards creating functional families where neither partner is having to settle for things well below expectations.
But we don’t live in a moral or sane society, and shaking people out of that delusion is an extremely painful but necessary step towards fixing things. Most people aren’t strong enough to see things for what they are
