Extremely indoctrinated people. I was once one of them. Bought a house once when I was in my early 20's and within 1 year sold it as the math didn't make sense. I figured I could make more money else then be stick paying for an overpriced house for 25 years. Best decision ever.
The worst part no one told me how interest rates worked, they were all concerned with me buying a house because it will always go up and you will be house rich when you are ready to retire. Such ridiculous people. It's not easy growing up around you when everyone is brainwashed by real estate.
