I don’t wish for it to happen, but I’m eager to see the real-world test of the European model if the U.S. ever withdraws all defense funding and strategic military positioning, offering protection only as a private security service. Will Europe still be able to sustain its extensive social programs while shouldering its own defense burden? Inshallah.
