I could drop a quotation from Marx’s Das Capital that, if left un-cited, would blow the mind of the most conservative reader. I could find another thought in Hitler’s Main Kampf that would lead the most progressive rights-based philosopher to applaud.
Fact is, we are taught to boil down philosophies (Marxism, Leninism, Fascism, Anarco-syndicalism) into simple “good-bad” labels. And declining to analyze these philosophies outside of the confines that the media, the corporations, and the government lay out for us as allowable thoughts, is what keeps us cognitively enslaved.
