Take it from a guy that was never ready for kids and now has 3! Kids are a bliss and a curse in the same time. You have to sacrifice a lot for them, even if you don't see it this way.
But they are also an immense joy and it warms my heart to see them grow, evolve, change, learn and discover.
We've ultimately decided to plan them. At least first 2 (boys, 2 years apart). Then we've had an "oopsie" (a daughter, 5 years apart) and even that did not break our stride.
