Look at squares in Metal Stoker (1991), but especially the screenshot for Devil's Crush (1990): the pinball will clearly not be a "ball" in 4:3 (and I can't unsee it).

Once again, I wonder what it means to have a proper experience under emulation. Choosing 4:3 and have obvious distortions doesn't seem to be it. 🤷‍♂️
