Get the crust half-way to done, then put on the sauce and toppings. Put it back in the oven.
It's like par-boiled rice. Half the work is already done.

And strong recommend a pizza stone. The new oven is far better than that old piece of crap, but I've got four ceramic plates on the bottom rack that I can throw dough on. Bonus, because they regulate and even out the temps. Even better than in restaurant kitchens with ovens that cost tens of thousands of dollars.
