At session last night (supposedly laid acoustic jazz /swing) a tuba player turned up. I quite liked it but the lead guitar person was fuming at end of night.
Whilst the genre is jazz, it's rare to get a brass instrument and the session is mostly strings..
I can see what the lead person was feeling. The tuba was perhaps a little heavy and volume was a different level..
But guitar person was .. got to tell them not to come again... Cont...
