Just shy of 20 years since I saw Cathedral supporting HIM and was like 'eh?' (they were... a choice for a venue full of baby goths), it appears I like doom now. Well, I like King Woman and Dead Can Dance, at least.
Although I have liked HIM's doom-flavoured album for a while now. Didn't acquire a taste for that until 10 years after it came out though 🤔
