I would LIKE to connect with other people over our shared fictional interests, but the IP owners inevitably insult the shit out of SOME group, whether it's a perceived "outgroup" or the fans themselves. Then all I see instead of friends are a bunch of losers slobbering over the brand like the pavlovian dogs they've been trained to be. Like, my dudes, if you're going to continue to give money to disrespectful douchebags, is it any wonder that I lose all respect for you too??
