Like I lock 10k sats to dread (npub1qqq…ntu2) . he _can_ spend them, but he doesn't. My locking demonstrates my trust in him, his refusal to spend them demonstrates that my trust isn't misplaced.
And I can repeat this with whoever else I want (including nostr:npubs that represent collective entities).
Maybe kinda pointless, kinda neat.
