If we truly and deeply want to understand how poorly our VC model of software development undermines the idea of making useful tools, we must consider this:
Every device we own from watch to workstation is a supercomputer with access to (effectively) unlimited storage. And yet, the prevailing model of software distribution is web apps, and for all statistical purposes, there are zero web apps that support undo at all, much less infinite undo and redo.
