I don't know, too many people view the physical and mental as separate things. If someone lets herself get that fat, there's something wrong mentally - either she's bought into the "I don't need no man" thing, or there's a lot of entitlement going on.
Men and women are different, but think about how much would need to change for *you* to be comfortable being that out of shape without doing something drastic to set things right. Personalitywise, could you even imagine the thought process that would lead to not being embarrassed by that?
