But Gen X got the most exposure to lead.
Hence the IQ drop.
When the boomers were children cars were not common, Gen X all grew up inhaling leaded gasoline fumes.
Millennials got it almost as bad as gen X with most of our childhood inhaling lead fumes but then leaded gasoline got banned.
When you look at IQ across generations it's only started to come back up to normal since gen z.
