And why FWD, esp. in Finland? 4WD is cheap to implement with EVs, unlike with ICEs, which is why so many (and growing) EVs offer it.
4WD with both axles being PM hurts efficiency by >=5%, but if one is induction - which can freewheel when unpowered - the drag impact is very low. And you can actually get some gains by tuning the front and rear motors differently and using whichever is more efficient in a given set of conditions.
