Meanwhile, after getting shit all week for my implementation of Raft using linked-lists and immutable data structures (in Python), I finally managed to write a test that successfully uncovered a subtle, but commonly made, implementation bug. I've been trying to write a test to do this for over 3 years. Suck it haters!
