I took a dislike to Saiorse Ronan after watching "Atonement" (a perfect performance as a horrid child) & haven't watched her in anything else aside from a few sketches on SNL, where she did a good job. So...I haven't seen her movie with Kate Winslet. I have seen the sketch & liked it.
I loved "Portrait of a Lady on Fire". No happily ever after, but a great Period Drama which gave me a lot to think about Art and Painting in particular. The beautiful energy between women, although hidden under layers of oppression, is life-affirming.
Meanwhile, although I'm not a fan of Kristen Stewart particularly, she helps make this installment of the SNL's "Totino's" sketches wonderfully sexy & absurd.
