"content": "In 2020 the UN ran a poll to find out what people think of climate change and these are the questions they asked. \n\nWhat would happen if they asked the people choosing 2A if they would support doing everything as urgently as possible if it meant that the bottom 75% of income earners would never be able to afford to buy a home or a car?\n\nFor 3C, would you support that if it meant you couldn’t afford to heat your home?\n\nFor 6A, would you support that if it meant that meat and dairy products would be made illegal and the bottom 75% of income earners would be required to eat bugs as their primary source of protein?\n\nCuriously, they only asked leading questions designed to elicit responses they approve of. They even say that responses they don’t like are evidence they need to do more “education”.\n\nI am happy to see that the US had the second highest percentage of fuck off responses of any country.\n\nThe gender differences are fascinating too. I wonder why the serpent tempted Eve with the fruit of the tree of knowledge? \n\nhttps://www.undp.org/sites/g/files/zskgke326/files/publications/UNDP-Oxford-Peoples-Climate-Vote-Results.pdf https://image.nostr.build/d5b7f3b69d0b3c2e5b1fe0109aec123c7f802e8683712b456c82ee91f97ddd7b.jpg https://image.nostr.build/0087fe564947264d39424d011bb0cc4cffaf2c46009c74900261a72047f21ad1.jpg https://image.nostr.build/a2380328ffa7bf805d167686576c3d477a2ee2917a3ea7b740ede203a9ecb01e.jpg https://image.nostr.build/ddc2a18e7a70c264d3571be3f167a7dc33ee4c950a622ee53f5c76f401697ca2.jpg ",
