Well I think you underestimate the change - GBE is not intended to nationalise existing privately owned energy assets, but to create new state-funded ones
And Water is now to be regulated more tightly, not taken back into public ownership
And reversing many other undesirable legacies - like the 2 child benefit cap - are subject to Treasury rules on affordability and not commitments
So I understand why the left are upset - but I think they are mostly fantasists
