It's time to pressure my library into getting some heterodox books again. I'm still smarting with regret that the request I made that actually worked last year was Konstantin Kisin's little book.

The books that interest me most are both of Kara Dansky's, Feminism Against Progress by Mary Harrington, Trigger Warning by Shiela Jeffreys, and Bad News by Batya Ungar-Sargon (not about feminism, but about the media).

Has anyone read any of the above? If you've read both of Kara's books, which one is better?

I don't want a book about child transing. My library system actually does have Abigail Shrier's and Miriam Grossman's.

If there is any recent-ish book you think I should be pushing for instead of what I named, please say. There are some good ones, such as Trans by Helen Joyce and The Case Against the Sexual Revolution by Louise Perry, that the system does already have.
