yes, i'm very aware of this and it's because the browser companies threw so much money at making "ninjas" and it is so incredibly cringe
i spent a few weeks working at a dev shop in Bosnia that was full of "ninjas" and i have so many sads at the lack of actual programming ability there was in there, i probably was in sum equal to the whole 30 staff or so at skill in writing algorithms
