I find it interesting that one of the most common replies to
https://mastodon.social/@danluu/111643026109666672 is something like "this is why I'd never buy a car with a computer in it" / "that's less than 15 years old", etc., and that a lot of people generally think that cars are now less reliable.
I haven't pulled it up again, but from having skimmed it in the past, I feel like the data for cars getting more reliable is very strong and that cars have been getting more reliable basically since the creation of the car.
