As much as I dislike OpenAI, this rhetoric is stupid and indistinct from the FBI threats on every DVD.
Nobody vacuums up anything. Copying is not stealing. Scraping is not vacuuming. Saving pages locally is not piracy.
The only difference now is that copy-and-paste "journalism" is feeling threatened.
