I can't fight this, I'm powerless in this scenario but I am kicking myself over trusting this super dodgy agent who is collecting authors like pokemon. I guess I wasn't attractive or marketable enough for trad publishing so they get someone who fit the bill and then coached the story into something approximating mine.
