transhumanism isn't inherently good or inherently bad
it can be used for both oppression and liberation
like a transhuman warrior caste engineered for war and imperialist conquest (space marines). I'm now wondering how liberated community (Arks of Exodus) would use this technology of body modification? Humanity used gene-changed troopers since The Dark Age of Technology, some Terran warlords used troopers that were equal to Thunder Warriors... One lost human civilization retained power armor STC, but without genetic engineering that created the space marines so Sons of Horus absolutely destroyed them. So imagine that the equality and transhumanism would produce something like anarcho-transhumanism. There would be various temples that represent various tasks done in community. They would be places of learning than strict castes. You can change your temple at any time and this prevents specialization. There would be no overseers or leaders, because master-slave dynamic created Vashtorr. Slavery is abomination and the greatest crime. It's literally spiritually dangerous and don't do that or you will end up in Forges of Hell. Workers decide how to produce, non-workers help to decide what to produce etc. You can modify your body however you see fit. Everyone has access to technology not only tech-priests. This approach is similar to The Culture novels although culture has greater degree of automation. Arks of Exodus still have Men of Iron, but they are equals instead of enforces of Tech-Lords like before.
