Thesis: the rise of small smartphone screens as the predominant way the world accesses information has had negative effects on the presentation and understanding (and toleration!) of complex, well-evidenced content.
It hasn't helped either that one can so easily stare at them 5sec at a time before swiping to the next thing in the middle of other activities.
I wonder what a thing like #VisionPro -- if ever cheap enough for most people -- with its promise of an "infinite canvas" will do.
