One deputy, Master Deputy Sheriff Bradley Michael Link, was killed, and two others, Master Deputy Sheriff Harold Howell and Deputy First Class Stefano Gargano, were injured. Sulpizio was taken into custody on August 5 after being treated at a hospital.
