This is why I’m suspicious of him.
Weapons are used to hurt someone else. Even if it’s for defense. But Bitcoin cannot hurt anyone. You can’t kill someone with Bitcoin.
Sure it can be used to protect you from the state but so can speech. You can use your words to avoid being killed. This is what lawyers do for work. If you want to classify bitcoin as a weapon because it can be used defensively, then speech should also be classified as a weapon. And I think that’s a dangerous idea to spread to governments. Thankfully, it doesn’t seem to be working.
