A note on Argentine football culture:
Each year there is one particular sports channel that creates a "best moments" special for the entire season. It mainly focuses on football and most particular on Argentine football. It takes interviews, goals, anecdotes, tv bloopers, injuries, fouls, missed chances, goalkeeping, all detail you can imagine into a several hour compilation.
Each year the previous years are compiled into this new one.
It became part of popular culture to watch the TYC Sports "El programa de Lavecchia"
It is getting massive, it's been more than a week now of continuous broadcast and I think it is great.
All footbal history folklore and culture in a very entertaining work of editing and compiling the best of the best.
So we can have a glimpse at great players, their way of thinking, their best moments, people thoughts on football and fanatism. It is a really iterating compounding piece of knowledge that grows and gets into our DNA. I remember watching it as a kid during christmass time and enjoying it the same as I am now at my thirties.

I am really proud of what football means in my life and what I see on the streets. And I think Argentine football is at it's peak and top of the world because of things like this. It's a collective conscious understanding of the sports that creates greater and greater players.
