I only have the vaguest idea how UEFI works, although I'm certainly learning as I go. Every distro installer seems to expect different things from the EFI system partition, but offers only the most minimal and cryptic error messages, if any.
I've been at this for days. So far I've been unable to install to the hard drive without formatting the EFI partition. Making dual-booting impossible.
This obfuscation feels intentional on Borgsoft's part.
