Unlike in America because we have way fewer people, we have a far tighter control over the media here.

I think it's because with enough population, you end up with a lot of people who are willing to go on the record and speak out against the narrative more. Here you don't get that.

So, it has been really bothering me lately, hearing all this bullshit about our two major supermarkets being the problem when it comes to food prices rising.

It's all a song and dance act. They don't want to point out to people that inflation happens because of printing money. Prices might also rise because of all the chinks they have been letting in the country and it becomes a sellers market.

Instead they are blaming Coles and Woolworths for the price hikes. It doesn't even make sense, given every other western nation in the world is having the exact same problem.
