Today in computer weirdness: Dell laptop, with an external monitor attached. If you put your phone down vaguely near the bottom right hand corner of the laptop, it triggers the “you’ve closed the laptop” detector, turns off the built-in screen and the OS starts moving all your stuff over to the external screen as if you’re running it headless rather than dual screen.
