How much does “wearing in” shoes involve (A) the shoe becoming less stiff & deforming, vs (B) the wearer’s gait adapting & their foot callousing at rub points?
Just walked 16km in shoes I hadn’t worn for 18 months (much used & comfortable back then) and ... ouch, seems mostly B.
