Hmmm.... there may be (further) trouble ahead for the #BBC.
Michael Grade (head of #Ofcom) in an interview with the FT has called the licence fee a 'regressive tax' & suggests that the next review of the BBC needs to look at how's its funded (as well as how it deals with complaints).
I may have lost my patience with much fo the BBC current affairs coverage but the way of reversing this decline is certainly not to make ti more beholden either to direct state support or footloose advertisers!
