US Social Security cost of living adjustment will increase, nominally, beneficiaries payments 3.2% for 2024. However the cost of Medicare Part 2 (prescription medications) will rise 6%, and recipients payments reduced by that amount. I have canceled part 2, since I have no expectation of returning to the USA. Prescription drugs in Thailand are cheap enough for me to pay out of my pocket. I have, as required by the Immigration Department, hospitalization insurance w/ 3 million Baht coverage
