Good morning, folks! It's more of a late morning but here's what a new Nostr day brought to me.
My learning curve with Titcoin (npub10qr…xqj8) by npub1cj8znuztfqkvq89pl8hceph0svvvqk0qay6nydgk9uyq7fhpfsgsqwrz4ucontinues (npub1cj8…nues) with the newest episode, which clarified a lot and here's my main take.
[Before anything, take into account that I'm a newbie.]
I had a big issue regarding all the charts showing how everything is cheaper nowadays in Bitcoin terms. It became annoying at some point because… yeah, sure, I can find a lot of crap that became a lot cheaper in terms of other crap.
While I still find my “irritation” to be valid, there's one angle that I never thought to explore. Things are indeed getting cheaper if we exclude money printing from the equation because we have become better at producing stuff, more efficient and so on (see the Arizona Iced Tea case). It's incredible how normal it became to just pay more for anything!
For the next few days, I will contemplate the idea of valuing my work in Satoshi terms and see where it goes. Just because. 🤷
