It's okay to support a candidate AND ask them to do better. You can be both a committed voter AND demand that they amend their policies.
Our democracy requires holding our politicians to account.
This is why it's important for us to hold Carney to account for Paul Chiang's "joke" which threatens Canadians who fled authoritarian regimes, and keep pressing the Gaza issue during the election process. This is the time that we, as the electorate, have any power. Demand the things you want. Send emails.
Don't get in the way of demands that you agree with out of fear.
This is democracy.
