I am not surprised: the current Finnish governent, who are A-OK with actual Nazis being ministers, is A-OK with EU citizens having no privacy or security online. They've changed the long-standing Finnish opposition to surveillance and are now for surveillance and not allowing secure encrypted communications.
They're not outlawing encryption. They're just for mandating backdoors. That's the same thing.
