I have a friend in Derby who is a very nice gentleman and quite charming but absolutely blind to either his privilege or his racism.
Keeps trying to tell me how good Brexit has worked out and what a good govt the UK is enjoying at the moment. He's especially pleased at keeping out immigrants. He never spends much time at home of course, he's always off on holidays overseas and complaining that the Pound isn't worth what it should be.
Even nice people make bad choices it seems.
