You want to know the one thing sadder than a country with no Second Amendment?
A country WITH one, whose government wipes their ass with the Constitution on a regular basis, and where the population is (as you said) "well armed"...and does absolutely FUCK ALL as their kids are indoctrinated by people they despise, their country slides into tyranny, their basic rights are eroded, the surveillance state grows, and so on and so forth.
So spare me.
The US is no 'light on the hill.' It was once. You pissed it away - and you know it. I'm not any happier about it than you. But only one of us is pretending...
