2 - find out we both like D&D
3 - Discover LinkedIn keeps suggesting stuff from him and/or SparkToro
4 - keep going to that stuff whenever it is offered
I find this journey double-y funny because a lot of what SparkToro talks about is to not worry about attribution, and this journey would be one that traditional b2b marketing wouldn't capture.
