got real 1999 vibes from a small party yesterday. everyone in tech had the same opinion about AI/ML: this is clearly a bubble but why hasn't it popped yet? why is the VC/finance/exec world the last group to notice?
my memory of 1999 is that by the time it seems like the bubble has lasted longer than should be possible, it's already started to pop, but it will take another year for anyone but tech workers to notice
