Bough a pathetically small amount of lumber today for the hives and it was $1000. $54 per board plus tax for 8' cedar 2x8's. $600 just for the lumber for the feet of 20 hives. Got some cedar 2x4's as well for the faces of them for the entrances. All the weather exposed wood will be tung oiled cedar again. Looks sexy and hopefully lasts as long as me.
