Found an affidavit provided by my great great grandfather Lucas W Hankins from 1883 in the Civil War Pension file I received this morning. I'm seeing affidavits and witness signatures from people I know were neighbors and relatives of my family in both Hankins, Sullivan County, NY and Manchester, Wayne County, PA
