That's now got me thinking about how I use Masto, what for. I hadn't really thought of it like a firehose. I follow a few 'booster' accounts like nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpquglf38as3syyjpu67f6eaakhgvxpxhz8ekqstw3294ny7xwf8m5qkkl9sg (nprofile…l9sg) and nprofile1qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnddaehgu3wwp6kyqpq3rw0597frqv0ps9zwuksnqsvgr3q9xq4vjjxnmrd9uvehwgaqekqtqz2fs (nprofile…z2fs), but hadn't thought of them as part of my firehose, I just like the way they think. I suppose that is what they are: my firehose. But I keenly watch out for anything from people like you, though I know I miss a lot. I should channelise such people on my client, but you know, there's only so much visible space on my browser! So overall I suspect I use Masto in a rather different way. Important to think about.
