"content": "It's easy to see why all this could be considered in need of some spring cleaning: \n\nBitcoin (agreed symbol with unicode)\nBTC\nSats (no agreed symbol, no unicode)\nZaps (agreed symbol with unicode, excludes cashu)\nNutzaps (placeholder for cashu zaps)\nMilliSats (needed for A2A)\n\nAlso the fact that there has been a constant and irresolvable argument about the Sats symbol for years is also not great; apps, terminals, etc. are basically choose-your-own-symbol (or choose none, which is also a choice). I get why people are proud of the organic nature of all this.
