"Pro" tip:
When you are connecting to a server via ssh, and you replace iptables with ufw, don't forget:
sudo ufw allow ssh
... or you'll have a lot of trouble logging in next time.
(Yep, I had to hook up the Raspberry Pi to a keyboard and monitor to fix this)
